The stones used in Anna’s work are collected on adventures and road trips across the American West or sourced from other lapidary artists and rockhounds, all stones are exclusively from the United States and source location can be pinpointed within square miles of the collection site, this creates transparency and reduces overall carbon footprint. Commercial mining, especially for fashion and jewelry, is incredibly destructive to habitats, watersheds, and Indigenous groups. By meticulously sourcing in this way Anna can uphold the highest standards of sustainability and ethical jewelry.
Using lapidary equipment Anna cuts and polishes each stone, creating unique shapes and highlighting the natural beauty of the agates and jaspers she uses.
