I collect ochres and other mineral pigments on walks and outings in the desert around my home and beyond. Rocks are hand-processed to achieve a uniform particle size and mulled with homemade watercolor medium to create completely natural mineral watercolors. My paintings are inspired by quilt blocks, geometric imagery, and desert flora/fauna. Workshops are offered regularly, check back or email for inquiries.
